I just replaced a set of hoses last week for a friend, none of them were
very friendly in coming off. The drivers side hose just screws into the
3-way, I had to hold the 3-way with a vice grip and turn the hose with a
wrench. be sure not to bend the metal tab that holds it in place.
the passenger side I was able to get 2 wrenches on. Oh , first spay with
P.B. Blaster.
I did have 1 wrench that was cut in half to make it shorter, but I can't
remember wheiter I used it.
I think it was too short, to get leverage on.
I do remember it took 3 times longer than I planned on. (what else is new)
The nuts that were on the original hose did not fit the new hoses, I had to
go out and buy new nuts, beats me why they don't come with the new hoses.
I also had to file down the new nuts to the same diameter as the old ones,
because i needed the clearence to tighten the brake line connection. I
couldn't find new nuts the same thickness as the old ones. ( Only needed to
file the rear nuts for clearence)
Cheers
