Joe---You should be able to install an assembled engine with the steering rack in position. (Early)TR models didn't have shims behind the lower wishbone brackets. The later ones that did can have as many as four on each one. The camber of the front wheels determines how many shims are needed. Once your engine is back in, and the suspension is settled, you'll know if adding shims is necessary. Dick '73 |
