Hi Don:

A year or two ago I refurbished the seat rails of my '69 TR6.  I bead 
blasted them and then primed and painted them with a Rustoleum "Industrial 
Grey" spray paint that I bought at the local hardware store.  Like yours 
they were corroded.  After bead blasting I hit them pretty hard with 
compressed air to remove all the glass beads from the sliding mechanism.  
After painting I used a spray silicone lubricant on the tracks.  They still 
slide nicely and look good too.
