Mark---Could be that Triumph shared your concern about getting some oil to the guides. However, these stems will operate without any 'additional' lubrication, as there is very little load on them when the valve train geometry is correct. The stock, cast iron hold up well, and the better, sintered bronze guides are impregrated with a carbon-like lubrication. Dick |
