I'm pretty sure this is wrong, the 3.45 TR6's are Euro Spec PI cars.

Note: if you do go with 4.10 gears, get them from a reputable shop. There
are some PacRim parts out there that'll work, but they have minor finish
problems that will effect reliability. I agree that the above sources are
good to deal with.

You mean you haven't got a C/R gearbox yet? What are you waiting for??
:-)
But more seriously, the alternate gear sets do show up from time-to-time.
There's a guy in Germany that has commissioned several runs of 4.1 and
4.33 sets (and even had some 4.55's at one point). The gears are works of
art and very high quality. If anyone out there is really interested in
alternate gears, feel free to drop me a line. I've used all the alternate
sets and 4.55 are my fav! But they are 20% lower than stock, so 80 MPH is
about 5000 RPM's, not 4000 (like stock).
But if you're putting "gears" in your cars, I suspect that RPMs for a
given speed are an issue.
4.88's are insane.
BTW, I'll have a set of 4.88's up for grabs in a month or two. I'm
installing the 4.33's for this year. Yeee-ha!
