Bob:   Does your recommendation for Redline MTL hold for the various
overdrives?  I've seen straight 30 wt non-detergent recommended for O/Ds. I
can't recall what you drive.

Use GL4 or Redline MTL.

I use MTL - it's great! No more crunching on up/down shifts unless I'm
really over-agressive.

GL5 has sulphur which is bad for the brass bits (synchros (all) and
bushings on the earlier cars).

Synthetic is too slippery, so the synchros don't work as good.  

Use Redline and you won't be dissatisfied.
