Evan,

Richard Good is a VERY nice person, and the parts he sells are also VERY
nice! I would not think twice about buying any part from Richard as far as
quality is concerned. I feel that it is important to note that you may run into
some problems if you try to run Richard's 1.65:1 rollers without cam
bearings...it is possible to wear the cam into the engine block and eventually
sieze it. I would also point out that Ted S. also sells roller rockers that are
of good quality and considerably less expensive. You can get in touch with ted
throgh his website, tsimportedautomotive.com . Ted is a character, but is also
a nice guy. I have Ted's rollers on my street car , and I will also be putting
a set on my autocross car. I'm sure some people will try to talk you out of
getting roller rockers for anything but a race car, but I do like them on my
street car. In trouth the benifits on the road may not be that great, but there
IS a gain in net valve lift, though slight, and that will free up some power. I
think they look cool too :) , but honestly you may notice a bigger gain for
your money if you lightened your flywheel or if you got an aluminum flywheel.
Horse power is sort of like fuel economy in that you are increasing efficiency,
but if you have more power there, I think you will notice that you will use
it...unfortunately causeing fuel economy to go down. My tr6 has 9.5:1
compression and a Good Parts Gp3 camshaft, and on the highway it gets better
mileage than my dad's tr6, but it has also been known to use a quarter of a
tank of fuel during a 1hr lunch break (I traded lunch for recess :) ). If you
are going to put a cam in your car, I would recommend the GP3 cam. It has a
little bit of a lope at idle, but it makes a bunch of low to mid range torque
and you don't have to wind past 5000 to make power. The car is also reliable,
and not too fussy about starting. Ted and Richard are probably the best people
to talk to about making power with their parts, they are willing to talk on the
phone, and if you tell them what you want out of the car and they will give
educated opinions about what you should do to your car to get what you want.
Not everyone will agree with my opinion, but all I can say is that when I push
my right foot down, my dad and his tr6 always get smaller in the rear view
mirror.
