Mike, Rex, and others---Right after I agreed that Mike's idea of two
different methods (shoes and discs) was probably how Triumph dealt with
giving the fronts more stopping power, I wondered why I previously wrote
that there was a difference internally in the MC. Then I remembered when
I honed mine several years ago, running into a 'step' half way thru the
bore. Thanks, Rex, for jogging my memory. There could only be one reason
for this step. The different size bores with their own seals must
proportion the front and rear systems differently.
Perhaps one of our engineers could do the numbers on this, to see what
the bias is. Nelson?
