maybe this is totally obvious, but i just want to share
what i do everytime i do an oil change.....
i prime the oil filter with oil!
okay, maybe everyone out there knows this. i am fairly young
and very few of my friends my age would know about that...well...
they normally do not change their own oil though.
in any case, by having the oil filter hanging down enables the owner
to fill the filter w/ oil to decrease the amount of time it takes for oil to
get pumped up to the engine on the first crank after an oil change.
over years i truly believe this pays off.
