Jim-it's crucial that you use the special lubricant that comes with the
bushings. If you put them in dry or under lubed you stand a good chance
of tearing the bushing in short use.
As far as the TRF competition springs ( HP132), I just installed a set I
bought last year in the car this summer. I put it off because of fears
of bottoming and rough ride. Well I missed out on the fun, I should have
installed them sooner. They lowered my car to about 1.5 inches ( now 26"
at the fender arch )& stiffened the ride just a little. My understanding
is TRF uses Goodparts for these springs. If you are looking for a better
handling car and are willing to say good by to a boulevard ride don't
waste any more time.
