Sounds like it may be running out of fuel - it runs about the length of time
it takes to empty the float bowls.
Next time you start it, try opening the gas cap and leaving it open - this
will eliminate problems with the evaporative emissions control system. If
the car keeps running, you know where to look.
Could also be some other restriction in the fuel system allowing only a slow
feed of fuel from tank to engine - collapsed/crushed fuel pipe, hose, etc??
