BEWARE!! 4 speed all OD are neat - but - there is a very
large potential hazard there. There is a bearing, at least
in the 'A' units that is operable only in one direction,
that being forward, when the trans. is in OD. Be SURE, if
you modify the trans. for OD in all forward gears, there is
some means to prevent OD from being engaged in reverse. If
reverse OD is attempted, you will scatter parts all over.
The easiest way may be a relay, energized by the back up
light switch, that will open the circuit to the OD solenoid
when reverse is engaged.
