I had the same problem with my new Panasports. The first ones that they
sold me didn't have the right offset. So, when I turned the wheels to full
lock, the suspension arms would rub the inner weights off. You didn't say
if your weights just came off or if you were turning at the time. You can
check the clearance by turning the wheel to full lock and feel around the
rim. You will need at least 1/4 inch because the wheel and suspension will
flex some when you drive it. I would check it turning the wheels both ways.

Greetings:
After installation of alloy wheels it appears that the wheel weights on the
front wheels have popped off, leaving me with wobbly wheels once again. I
found a wheel weight in my driveway that looks to have been scarred from
rubbed against some suspension or frame member. The rear weights are still
on the wheels even though I have installed a tube shock conversion kit.
(The weights are installed on the INSIDE of the new wheels for appearance
sake.)
Has anyone else experienced this problem with aftermarket wheels and wheel
weights? Any alloy users install the weights on the outside of wheel to
avoid the problem?
