Hi all,
Don't want to drag this on any longer than necessary but one more
product comes to mind, a two part coating that goes under the name
"Build 50". This is an epoxy resin & hardener commonly used to coat bar
tops, tables furniture & other things that require a thick, clear
coating. I used this a few times to cover laminations on wood. You may
have seen this popular product in the infamous pennies set in wood
toilet seat. Has any one used this? From my experience with this it is
amazing and the depth it creates is beautiful. The end result with only
one coat of this self leveling miracle is a 1/8" thick clear plastic
look of equal to about 30 spray coats or 10 brush coats.
