Dan---The switch shaft has a spring- loaded protrusion near the end, but no obvious corresponding dimple in the knob itself. This means that it should pull straight out and off. Yours is apparantly stuck for one reason or another. Perhaps a former owner glued it on? In any case, try turning it to both extremes just short of breaking the knob or switch. Maybe this wrenching will be enough to break whatever's bonding the two. Dick T. |
