Joe,
Sometimes when you replace an oil filter on a TR6, the rubber O ring stays
stuck in the crevis of the block where the Can snugs on. The person
replaceing the filter is not aware that the O ring is still in there. Then,
when you place a new O ring on the block, you actually have two and you will
never get a good seal. A properly positioned filter and can with one large
O ring and a good small O ring that the bolt passes through at the end of
the can should provide a dry seal.
Good Luck,
Mike Brinker
