Hi Joe,
I had a similar problem - check there is only one seal in the groove for
the oil filter can (because the groove is deep, sometimes one forgets to
remove the old seal before putting the new one on).
I have also installed on the the kits and recommend them. The kit is
basically a 90 degree bend so othe filter is vertical instead of
horizontal. This prevents the oil draining out of the filter meaning pretty
much instant oil pressure at startup. The filters are the spin on type
(much easier to change).
