In 1958, DKW-Vemag launched the sedan. It was the first four door model made in Brazil. Later, this car got the name "Belcar" . Originaly, the sedan had a three cylinder engine (896 cc and 38 bhp). In 1960, the Belcar was equipped with a three cylinder, 980cc 50 bhp engine.
