There is only one way I can think of to "create a market" for cars 
like this.  Whenever one comes up for sale, buy it.  If a couple of 
you would like to get into a bidding war, that would help too!  As 
you said, without demand, there really isn't any value.  You're not 
going to create demand by holding out for high prices.  It might help 
if a Magnette played a prominent part in a movie or TV show.  It has 
to be something mainstream and popular though.  Maybe you could fit a 
flux capacitor, but 88 mph would be challenging without some modifications.
