new MGB owner and trying to learn what I can. I love the car but hav=
ing some issues with idle and backfiring. </div><div><br></div><div>Th=
e car is a stock 78 (recently restored), with a DCOE carburetor. No c=
hoke. Seems to start with a low idle so the engine rocks a good bit. &=
nbsp;Once it warms up it is smooth. </div><div><br></div><div>The conce=
rn is have is when I go into a turn in 2nd gear, and press the accelerator, s=
he bogs, and bucks, and backfires. To get through I need to apply clut=
ch and feather the throttle. </div><div><br></div><div>Anyway, anyone h=
ave some advice on tuning the DCOE? As I said, I love the car. &=
nbsp;Just not happy with how it runs in certain conditions. </div><div>=

R3 from John Guehl in the Pittsburgh area. I spent a little more than I anti=

ar after filling the tank so I pulled the panel off from inside the&nbs=
