I always seem to have cars that don't exist in any parts house computer.
Rather than telling them it's off a Devin, Mallock, or whatever its better to
just to take the old part in and thell them its off an old race car and play
dumb. If you're really lucky there will be someone in the store who goes to
the circle track or drag races. Generally I have better luck at NAPPA stores
and small-town independent parts stores, where they're used to dealing with
repair shops and tend to know a little about cars. Besides, if you pester
them long enough they'll let you go through their parts books yourself and
that can save you both a lot of time. The AutoZone style chains are helpless.
