Has anyone got actual experience running race engines with locked distributors? I know people say you can do it with no problems, but I wonder what happens when you do this as far as idle, hot starts, and cold starts are concerned. Any ideas? The engine I have is a 1865cc 120E ford based engine. It uses a reverse rotation distributor, which is essentially impossible to find, and so I thought I'd try the locked, no advance thing. Thanks, Brian |
