I'm looking at better solution for hinging my new Vixen bonnet using
spherical rod ends or rose joints. The thread in the DavidGerald
fitted frame is 3/8 UNF and the std for rose joints is UNF as
its an American aircraft spec. So two, 3/8 UNF male rose joints
screw into the frame and then mount a 3/8 bit of rod on the brackets
holding the water radiator. The question is: how to provide fore and
aft adjustment?

Ideas anyone?

Regards,

John
