Thread-topic: [TR] 58 TR3A battery box
According to this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOQ900QdOh8 the
battery box is held in by a bunch of spot welds. I am going to let my body guy
take it out and put in a new box.

The acquisition of this car was described in a recent issue of TRA Magazine;
the gray car acquired out of Bulverde, TX. It is an LO car; otherwise I would
not have given it a second look.

It is also described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJruEFYdT3k

The engine has already been rebuilt; the overdrive unit was moved to a TR6
transmission and both rebuilt. I am currently in the process of taking it
apart; it will go to Dip-Strip Technologies in Brenham, TX. Then new battery
box and a few patches and body cleanup - for example the hole for the antenna
and the holes for wing mirrors (there are several) will be welded up. Then
paint and interior and assembly. I plan to go with the light blue exterior and
dark blue interior with white piping.
