The Monza was on my TR6 when I bought it and I loved the sound for around
town driving and hated it on the highway. At highway speed it just droned on
and on and on and drove me nuts. One cool thing though was it set off every
car alarm I drove by. I quickly got rid of it and went with stock steel
almost 10 years ago and love the sound. When it's time to replace it, I'll
follow Randall's recommendation and seek out a good muffler shop for a
"custom" set up.

So, it sounds like perhaps the Falcon SS TR6 exhaust is probably not the
best choice for a deeper, throatier sound. I actually like the Monza
exhaust sound that I've heard (although it was years ago). I just prefer
the original design of the twin outlet pipe offset to the side. Seems to fit
the looks of the car better. I think the four outlets of the Monza is a
bit over-the-top visually for these cars. Just my personal opinion but I
may end up going the Monza route anyway for the sound before it is all said
and done.

Louder? Yes. Deeper? No. It has what I consider an annoying resonance
at about 2500 RPM that is anything but pleasant.

I'd rate the Falcon TR6 SS exhaust system one lug wrench whereas I would
rate the TR3 and the TR8 systems three lug wrenches.

I have the same SS systems on my TR6 and TR8 and the same opinion of both.
