I've no idea, but originals are occasionally sold on eBay.

Very likely.  Do the tail/marker lights work ?  That would tell you the main
switch is OK, as well as the power to it.

Some care is called for ... those rheostats are expensive and a failure
frequently indicates a short somewhere in the dash lights.  If you still have a
short, the new rheostat will quickly burn up.
