Sorry to bomb my favorite lists, but having been a life long news/political
junkie, it is awfully hard to watch history with out commenting.

As a pragmatic Democrat it's also hard not to wish for two reams of Florida
absentee ballots or, ultimately an electoral vote :) Let's put in
perspective just how close this election is. If you took 21,000 cases of
paper, each sheet representing one vote, it would overload two semi trailers
and yet the difference in the vote total in Florida right now can be held in
one adult hand. Whomever prevails better be prepared to stand on the
credibility of the final count.

Anyone caring to share thoughts on the present state of the American
political process please post your missives to:

Ken Gano,
a casual observer

I always try to respect the sanctuary of staying on topic on list posting,
so PLEASE do not turn this invitation into an on list flame war. I take
full responsibility for bending the list etiquette and will gladly ignore
the flames sent to me at the above address. :) I have been surprised and
distressed by the lack of public comment. This really is history.
