Hi. First, thank-you Hugh and Trevor for responding to my plea for air
filter info. I think I've got the problem licked. Now for my next
question: what do you folks do with your chrome luggage racks that are much
the worse for wear? Mine looks... well, shabby. Seeing as how the TR6 to
which it belongs will soon be looking very spiffy - lots of body work and
paint, I'm reticent to slap the rack back on in its present shape. I can't
afford to have it re-chromed (the soon to be spiffy looking car took care of
that option!), so can I... ummm... paint it?
Or would you folks see my silver-painted luggage rack from a mile away and
point and laugh and shout rude things at me? Would I become infamous on
this list? Some kind of LBC-molester?
