Do I dare add comments?

Henry made some valid points. We do sometimes digress.

And his comments were equally valid in the next 10-20 messages
which quoted Henry's entire original one! Use the DEL button (or
do some fancy mouse clicks if you can't run a keyboard) and get
rid of most of the original message!

If we follow Mark's suggestions (equally valid when Bud sent
them again!) and in general think before posting, we'll do
pretty well.

I personally read the digest format of the list. I don't try
to filter/exclude people or subjects, but do get tired of folks
who copy a 50 line posting, and stick a one line "me too" in
the front of it.

Yes, many of our discussions have been covered before. But
the list members come and go, and new folks may not have seen
previous discussions. So don't go ballistic if someone asks
what size tires fit a TR6.

I like a spread of non-technical discussions. I've enjoyed
the BIOs (I posted one). But sometimes we get 'way off the
mark, with discussions that have nothing to do with the
general Triumph topic. And maybe that's when someone needs
to say "enough already" and let things move on. Again, engage
brain before starting to type.

I hope the list won't be split again. I've watched SOL become
SOL+MG+Triumph, and then Triumph become Triumph+Spit, etc. Each
split causes some very interesting folks to pick one or the
other, and causes me to miss discussions about the other
subject (maybe I would like an MG or Spit one day...).

Feel free to comment.
(Just don't quote the whole d**n thing!)
