Well, I've just purchased a '79 Spit in need of minor repair to get it on
the road. It will be a "rolling restoration", but at least I now have a
driveable LBC while the TR6 restoration progresses...at a snails pace!
I like the roll bar in the TR6 that I have and am thinking that I'd feel a
lot better having such protection in the Spit also. I think it was in one of
my LBC catalogs that I noticed a roll bar cover as being mandatory for a
Spit rollbar installation. Or maybe it was a recent thread on the list..
cant remember. I assume it's because of the cramped Spit interior. Do any
listers have roll bars in your Spits? If so... how "claustrophobic" does it
get having one in such a small interior?
