No, I am not aware of any cases of failure in the TR2/3 suspension.
However, I do not like the idea of having any of the parts compromised
in any way. The consequences of a failure can be very bad, so I don't
want to take any chances.

I wonder what actual stresses the pins (upper and lower fulcrums) see.
Seems to me that the entire front suspension hangs on these pins......I
won't
be doing any autocrossing with this car.
Do you know of any failures in this area? I know that I'm not the first one
to
assemble a front end over rusted pins.
