I have owned a 60 TR3A for 18 years. Some time back I dropped an exhaust
valve seat in my number 4 cylinder. Thank goodness i was at idle at the
time!!!! When I removed the head I found the the valve seat embedded in the
piston with no damage to the cylinder.
My problem is how do I get a new exhaust valve seat and install it into the
head?
Also, There is a small crack between the exhaust seat and the intake valve
opening.. Does this mean that the Head is trashed or can I get it welded or
something???
I have another head, but it is in pretty bad shape. (no cracks though).
