Phil,
Your calculations are correct. According to Road & Track's
original road test, the TR6 should go 20 mph in fourth gear at 1,000
rpm. Since my speedometer hasn't worked since I got it (cable and drive
gear problems), I don't know how accurate that is, but R & T are probably
right. So as long as your equipment's standard, you're correct.
