This may seem over simple but I just have to check this out anyway. Did you check for free play on the throtle cable. Mine was set incorrectly and I was able to bring the RPM down to 500-600. I still have a lean idle and adjusting the air screw doesn't help so I'll be looking at adjusting the main needle when and if I get the tool. |
