My problem was I did the sides before the center section. Well, you sort of
have to, but I didn't know just where the edge of the center section would
come down. Next time for sure! Leaving the pieces in the sun helped a lot to
get things to fit nice and tight, though.
I used a TRF interior and carpet set too, and was quite pleased with the
results. To install interior panels, a wonderful tool is a machinists scribe
-- a little tool with a straight point on one end and a 90 degree bent tip on
the other. To locate screw holes, hold it so that the 90 degree tip pokes out
from where the hole is and press the panel onto it. Remove, use the other end
to enlarge the hole and screw into place through the now perfectly situated
hole. (THis tip came to me from Chris Kantarjiev -- thanks!)
