I guess your DMV won't allow something like:
"YEAH IT'S A TRIUMPH -- WANNA MAKE SOMETHING OF IT?"
(I think that's too many letters.) ;-)

In another life (pre-marriage, mortgage, children, etc.), my 1970 GT6+ 
sported "6 PLUS" and my everyday Volvo 144 sported "VTR 113", which 
corresponded to my membership number. The latter plate currently 
"decorates" the RaceSpit4, as neither plate nor car is road-legal.
