Not sure that's its myth or legends in the marques, just the nature of many
people embellishing stories to make their car seen more special or making
things up on the fly rather than saying they don't know an answer to a
question.
Also the other thing I love.... because it's on my car... or because I
fitted it 20 years ago it's now " factory" or "original"
