All of these anti theft ideas are good. I installed a security system in my car during restoration and integrated it into the wire harness. The car will only run for 30 seconds unless you punch in the code. It has a dual zone radar that detects intruders even with the top down. It kills the ignition and the starter circuit when tripped. Also has an anti car jacking feature. These systems are not too hard to install and are state of the art if you can get someone to sell you one without them installing it. I also have the state of the old art hidden fuel pump switch and battery cutoff. The only trouble with all these gadgets is it makes operating the car more complicated, but if it stops the one guy who was going to take it then it's worth it. Brent Edinger B9471023 |
