Larry Mayfield asked about Sunbeam land speed records. There were many at varying distances, but I think the generally accepted standard World Land Speed Record is for the flying mile. In that context: The 350HP Sunbeam set the record of 150.76 MPH at Pendine, South Wales on July 21, 1925. The 1000HP Sunbeam (twin V-12s) set the record at Daytona on March 29, 1927 of 203.79 MPH.
