Same thing happened to me in my 65 Ocelot DSR a few years ago. Coming out of
turn 9 at Vegas onto the front straight. At that time, there was sloping
bank so I got a little fiberglass damage and wound up back in the middle of
the track. Same circumstances, crew had taken it off for some reason during
the layover and i didn't check it.
We should start a club flounder. I was a boy scout member of the Order of the
Arrow. We could call it the "Order of the Strained Pucker String". I can see
the design on the tee shirts now...... Gene
