So I played with the Mini's manifold last night and it certainly is a
different angle, not that noticeable when on the motor but noticeable
when off the motor.  Don't worry, the Mini is not yet running,
son-in-law won't notice I played with his cars parts. Heck, I am
assembling the motor anyway, we hope to put it in the car in week and
half over the weekend but i still have to put in new brake lines, new
fuel lines and some stuff like wiring before that weekend.  The car was
stripped to bare shell for de-rusting/welding and finally painting.
So, I am convinced, i have the right/correct intake manifold for my
1098.  Now I just need Carbs :)  There are some on Ebay that are not AUD
136 that based on comments yesterday will work if I re-jet them or
change minor stuff.  One says some jets are stuck, which worries me, the
others look like they sand blasted everything and then put new parts
in.  I might wait a week and see what pops up on ebay but any other
places you know of that I can look or ask, before I make last call :)
With the exception of my own forum for Singer's, I tend to avoid
forums, I am too old for that stuff and prefer e-mail and groups like
this, any forum i should join and check out the for sale section ?

A gun is like a parachute, if you need one but don't have it,
you'll probably never need one again.
