Well, when our sons (including mine), daughters, and friends were sent to
Iraq, our 'ally' the French continued selling arms to Saddam to use against
them. Now you can argue all you want about whether we should have been
there, blah, blah, blah, but if this is how our allies treat us, I want
nothing to do with them. I'm sure you can argue about other countries, or
what we (the US) may have done to other countries, etc. also, but when this
was happening while MY son was there, it just got a little too personal for
me.
