Interesting that he converted a RWA shell to rubber bumpers. I wonder
how (without the reinforcements, especially at the front), and why?
He calls them "aerodynamic" but I know they add almost 100lbs to the
car. With that little motor in there, that's lost performance.

The Tesla works because they use expensive Li-ion batteries. They are
much
lighter and last longer than lead acid, NiCd or NiMh. If I was going to
convert a midget to electric I think NiMh batteries would make a good
compromise between weight and cost.
