I've had an oil leak on the front of my 948 for a couple years now and it is getting worse. Going to the 50th so I guess I better fix it. I don't think it is the pan or the timing cover gaskets. I think it is that cheesy felt seal in the timing cover for the crank. I have the felt seal to replace it. The service manual says I can remove the radiator and do the job without having to raise the engine. My question is, what is the torque for the crank pulley bolt? Also, if anyone has any helpful hints, I am open to them. Doug ....o~'o |
