A book I have, dated 1968 calls this an HS2 SU carb.
I did a google image search and came up with a number of exploded diagrams.
Do any show the pipe you're looking for?

As quoted below - I've found where the vacuum take off is (I hope!)
The Morris Minor 1000 workshop manual text refers to a "ignition control
pipe" fitted to the carburettor - but it does not give any details, drawing
or part number.
No mention at all in the Haynes Sprite manuals!?
I'm assuming it is a small diameter cooper tube that is threaded on one end
to screw into the carburettor.
It is a 948cc engine with a single HS SU carburettor.
Does anyone have a scrap HS carb that they could take the copper(?) pipe off
and sell it to me? I'm also guessing that it's probably about 1" -> 1.5"
long.
Or what the thread might be...
No supplier lists it ;-(
