I have original NOS 1960 plates (black background with white letters) on Iris. Registered as classic plates and good for 5 yeaes and the car doesn't have to be driven by the inspection people to pass state inspection ( I keep the inspection sticker in the door pocket as I refuse to put it on the windshield) and I have never been hassled. Was pulled over once but the cop just wanted to check out my car as he was enthralled by it. Leo |
