The A arms for the MKII are all reassembled, and (almost) ready to go. My only
hangup is that I want to put grease zerks in the small end plug of the fulcrum
pin. I measured the openings and measured ~0.60" diameter, so I bought some
5/8" expansion plugs, drilled them for 1/4"-28 zerks, and turned them to 0.60"
+- .010". Here's the rub, the ends seem to have a detent machined into them
for the plugs that is too large to accommodate the expansion plug's greatest
diameter. I'm considering using a snap ring in there to hold the plug in
place, anyone have any ideas or knowledge to express and share?
Other than this, the front end is ready to go on so that I can continue with
the reconstruction.
