It was a 2009 Lexus; they have a drive by wire throttle. I still don't
completely buy the floor mat theory. There are to many cars, trucks and
floor pans covered. I would put some money on a hardware/software/interface
bug. Time will tell, but once the floor mats and accelerator pedals are
fixed I doubt it will be the end of the problems.
Also pressing an holding a button for 3 seconds during a goat rodeo might
not be as easy as you would think.
