My next car which is due to arrive in February, (Cooper S) will have a keyless
system. It is my understanding that at least on that system, you can press the
off button to turn off the car.
The Lexluther cars of course could be different.

He tried to turn the "key" off. I don't think those cars have a traditional
key. That was part of the problem. Someone can pipe in if they know more
about this.
