Ok, Vicodin is one of the few pain relievers I regularly prescribe.
My usual Rx is 2 tabs every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. As a
hydrocodone, it makes many people sick-ish to their stomach. My
personal experience is that it doesn't kill the pain as much as it
makes you not care that it hurts. Call any Pharmacist and see how
Alleve interacts with you BP meds. One Alleve is over the counter,
two Alleve is a prescription strength. Better overall for pain but
slow to get going.
